Lawn And Weeds

The biggest problem with lawns is weeds and I hate them. They not only destroy the look of the lawn care but also eat away my precious grass. Especially in summers the weeds become hardened and they are so difficult to take out that I spend nights worrying about it. It is always better to observe the soil and take care of weeds beforehand. Fertilize the soil properly. Nowadays chemical fertilizers are available for all kind of weeds. I prefer to use the organic ones. When applying fertilizers make sure that you cover your hands and mouth properly they are very poisonous if inhaled or eaten. Don’t be alarmed if you have weeds in the lawn, sterilize the soil and be careful don’t destroy the grass. (Continued)

The Lawn Care Woe Is Me

Lawn care is a messy business if you don’t have a green thumb and just want a lawn because you neighbor has it, get a professional to do it. Lawn care requires me to get up early in the morning to water the grass which is really very boring and tedious job. Plus all the weeding gets my hand dirty and soiled.  It also requires lot of water I mean we don’t use this much water at home. The lawn literally drinks up all the water. Even a quick growing grass takes a lot of time. I hate seeing the slow progress. Lawn mowers are expensive and plus to take them out and oiling every weekend is also a very messy job. I wish there was an easy way to do this.  There is the additional work of raking the leaves and other things from the lawn too otherwise it might harm my grass (or so the gardener tells me). If I would have know that I would have to work so much on the  lawn I would have just cement the whole are and painted it green.

More Lawn Care Love

I was checking my mailbox this morning when I noticed how a lot of weeds has already grown in my lawn. I used to hire someone to fix that out for me but being jobless for a week now I thought about why not fixing that by myself? And so I gave it a go. I thought about using weed killing sprays or chemicals to take them out but when I asked a friend of mine he said I’d rather want to pull em out one by one than doing that. I think it had something to do about maintaining organic plants with no chemical content or something. Not being an expert in this “gardening”, I heed his advice and proceeded. I started pulling those weeds out one by one, but after a couple of weeds pulled out(6 fistfuls actually), I grew tired of it already. I realized this is going to take a lot of work and a lot more of care to maintain my beautiful lawn. So I decided to stop what I was doing and just call my gardener for the job when I saw my neighbor looking at me from his porch. He was looking at me with disappointment written all over his face and I thought of what he told me. When taking out weeds what you need first is “patience”. Patience, I needed that. Well I didn’t have it so I reached for my phone instead.

Working On Your Lawn

Lawns require a lot of hard work initially. Try reading up as much as you can about the climate and grasses and talk to a local gardener about your needs. If you have a large area you will have to buy a powerful lawn mower for it. Learn how to use lawn mowers properly otherwise you might end up having grass in your eye of cutting up to much of grass. When sowing a lawn decide how much money you want to spend and how much time you have. Remember that it’s always better to spend money on quality rather than repent later; you don’t want your money to go waste? Do you. So choose good grass and fertilizers. Also initially the grass requires a lot of tending so make sure u can take out enough time to take proper care of the grass. Laws in their growing period require a lot of water also so get you hoses and pipes ready and if you can install a sprinkler system there is nothing like it. Just a touch of button and the lawn is watered!!
